Company History

Alaska USA Insurance Brokers was founded in 1986 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. It was originally known as Alaska USA Insurance Agency and was formed to provide credit union members and others with property, casualty, loan protection and other types of insurance.

In order to provide additional insurance options and coverages, and to expand services to include all types of insurance for businesses, Alaska USA acquired Ribelin Lowell and Company Insurance Brokers in 2004. During a transition year, Alaska USA's subsidiary did business as Ribelin Lowell Alaska USA Insurance Brokers. The name was permanently changed to Alaska USA Insurance Brokers in 2005.

Alaska USA Insurance Brokers maintains offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Soldotna and Wasilla. Coverage is available for individuals and businesses throughout Alaska.
